Apex Legends: Holo Day Celebration: This awaits you in the Christmas event!

As it should be nowadays, the Battle Royale hit title Apex Legends has a comprehensive new game event just in time for the Christmas break. We'll tell you what exactly awaits you here!

As part of The Game Awards 2019, Respawn Entertainment announced a new event for the battle royale hit Apex Legends. This also celebrates the prize in the "Best Multiplayer Game" category at the award ceremony.

The Christmas in-game event is called "Mirages Holo Day Celebration" and creates a festive atmosphere in Apex Legends. The time-limited event t akes place from December 12th to January 7th and is the largest holiday party in the Outlands. In this context, you get new challenges, limited-time cosmetic items and a page from Mirage that no one has ever known.

The main features of the event are officially stated as follows:

• Limited time mode: Winter Express – Three squads try to conquer the edge of the world train, which is festively decorated from station to station. Thanks to their own predefined loadouts, players can save themselves from looting and get straight to the point. The first squad to win three conquests wins the game.
• The Mirage Voyage City Takeover – Players experience THE 28th century holiday party on board the Mirage Voyage. With this city takeover, legends can jump into the hot tub with their favorite weapons or take a spin on the dance floor. If you want to heat up the party even more, press a certain button on the ship to trigger fireworks, dancing mirages and more. Players can get a free legendary G7 skin by starting the celebrations first.
• Pathfinder heirlooms and temporary cosmetic items – The Holo Day Celebration Collecting Event offers a set of 24 thematic cosmetic objects that can be bought directly with Apex coins or unlocked with manufacturing metals or Event Apex Packs. Anyone who unlocks all 24 cosmetic holo day celebration packs will receive the Pathfinder heirloom set free of charge.
• Double-EP-weekend – From December 13th to 16th, players will receive double experience points, with the exception of star rewards for Battle Pass challenges.
