Respawn Entertainment has released another trailer for the upcoming season 9 in Apex Legends – and in this it has confirmed the legendary arena mode.
In a few days, Season 9 will start in Apex Legends and then bring more novelties than usual. The now published launch trailer for Apex Legends: Legacy prepares for the extensive gameplay reveal, but already announces the arena mode.
A gameplay trailer will be published next Monday, which will then show the arena mode in action. Dataminers had found references to such a game mode frequently in the past, starting in October 2020 before the launch of Season 7. The new game mode is supposed to bring Apex Legends “further than just Battle Royale”.
In the video, which you can watch below, you can also see the well-known boss Ash from Titanfall 2, who suggests in a dialogue that the Apex Predators will play a decisive role in the context of the arena mode. The clip also shows a revised version of the Infested Olympus card and the new weapon: the Bocek Bow.
Further details are expected on April 26th. Apex Legends: Legacy will officially start the new season on May 4, 2021 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
The new trailer for Apex Legends confirms that the title will also offer an arena mode in addition to Battle Royale.
