Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment today gave the global go-ahead for Apex Legends Mobile pre-registration; Interested parties can therefore register for the game in view of the release planned for 2022.
Apex Legends Mobile is said to offer “a unique twist on Legends character gameplay, exciting squad battles, and fast-paced combat” – tailored for smartphone and tablet touchscreens.
Pre-registration is on the official site of Apex Legends Mobile and gives you the chance to be among the first players to join this implementation. At registration milestones in the coming months, as a registered player you can also secure exclusive cosmetic items for the later full version.
The new implementation contains the legends, abilities and locations of the main game; otherwise there are no cross-play functions with this one, since the controls are simply too different. The user interface has been specially optimized, as well as the controls. In addition, there will also be new maps and pure mobile modes in the mobile version.
Apex Legends Mobile will initially start far away from Europe in selected countries as part of a soft launch. If the start is successful with a manageable number of players, Respawn will force the global launch; However, there is no concrete release date yet.
