After a corresponding leak, the official confirmation may no longer be quite as spectacular, but the details of the Valentine's Day event in Apex Legends were not yet known. Respawn Entertainment has done its nails and has also given the go-ahead for the event.
From today, February 11th to 18th, 2020, the day of love will be duly celebrated in the Battle Royale hit. The event is called "Valentine's Day Rendezvous" and puts the focus on togetherness through the comeback of the duo mode.
In addition to the returning game mode for a short time – Apex Legends is usually played in teams of three – there are also other goodies. If you just register, you can secure an exclusive event badge. In addition, the event is linked to a Double XP campaign, so that you can collect double experience points (up to 20,000 daily) in the squad with a friend.
Last but not least, there are the following new or recurring Valentine's Day objects:
- Two new Pathfinder and Nessie weapon talismans (as previously leaked by Dataminer)
- Return of last year's DMR longbow skin "Durchs Herz" and the frame "Liebe zum Spiel" at a discounted price
