The Bocek Bow has only just made it into the game, and Respawn is already nerfing it. The popular Spitfire is immediately hit by the collar.
Just last week Respawn heralded the 9th season in Apex Legends with the legacy update. In addition to the new legend Valkyrie, there was also the Bocek bow as a new weapon on board. It has it all and, according to the community, has dealt far too much damage. Respawn reacted promptly via patch yesterday evening and turned the values of the Bocek a little – and the overpowering Spitfire also got its fat straight away.
Especially in the arenas, which were introduced as a new permanent game mode with the 9th season, many players suffered from the two overpowering weapons. Respawn’s answer: The bow now drops less on body hits, reloads a little more slowly and players can now carry less arrow ammunition with them.
The Spitfire, affectionately known as “Shitfire” by the community because it has a huge magazine and even bad shooters can win a fight with it, has also been weakened somewhat. It is long overdue from community circles, because the weapon not only dominates the arenas, but also the ranked mode of the classic battle royale. The Spitfire now does a little less base damage and the magazine size has been reduced.
At the latest since the 8th season, but definitely with the legacy update, Apex Legends has been enjoying great enthusiasm among its fans. With over 330,000 active players on Steam alone, Apex is currently the game with the fourth-most active players at the same time.
