EA and Respawn Entertainment today announced Apex Legends’ next major seasonal update: Salvation introduces you to a revamped version of the Stormpoint map. In a great battle, the heroes killed a sea monster, whose carcass now lies off the coast of the island. Venture inside the creature and look for great treasure hidden there.
Also new are the IMC arsenals, which are spread across the entire island. Behind each is a PvE mini-game: for 60 seconds you have to fend off several waves of robots in order to get valuable loot. You can do that with the new hero Newcastle, who adds an agile defender to the roster.
The ranking system has also undergone an extensive overhaul. In the future you should get better rewards for team play as well as your individual skills. Also part of the update is a new Battle Pass, which, as usual, lets you unlock numerous cosmetic extras, including special knight outfits.
