Apex Legends Season 15 Eclipse Release Time and Date
The release date for Apex Legends Season 15 Eclipse is Tuesday, November 1st.
At once Apex Legends Season 15 Release Date, sadly, there’s very little clarity on when the new Apex Legends season will drop before launch. However, the past few seasons have been online at about the same time for nearly a full year, so it’s safe to assume the following times will be the approximate release times for Season 15.
- United States west coast: 10 a.m. (Pacific Daylight Time)
- US East Coast: 1 p.m. (EST)
- U.K: 6pm (BST)
- Europe: 7pm (CET)
Obviously, take all of the above with a grain of salt. These times are based on previous seasons, so may change this time.
What’s new in Apex Legends Season 15 Eclipse?
New Legend: Catalyst
Let’s start with the most exciting additions to Apex Legends Season 15: catalyst!
Catalyst is a new Legendary addition to the roster, a slew of new abilities we’ve only glimpsed through the Eclipse launch trailer embedded above. While we have no official word on her abilities, the trailer (as all previous launch trailers have done in the past) does give us a lot of hints about what she’s capable of.
First, we see her shooting a puddle of goo while tripping Mad Maggie and Firth, suggesting she has some sort of CC ability.
We also saw her erect a huge wall that Loba’s squad couldn’t see through, which made us think it was an obvious ultimate ability. Not only that, but when the supercharged Octane tries to pass through it, they apparently slow down to a snail’s pace. We’ve also seen that Loba’s scan doesn’t seem to work on large walls, so maybe it has real eye protection as well.
While we can only guess at what Catalyst can do right now, if this season is like any before it, we’ll definitely get a full gameplay breakdown in the days leading up to the release of Apex Legends Season 15. We’ll update this post with the appropriate information once we’re sure!
new map
We also know a new map is coming, but we don’t currently know it’s closely related to Boreas (the planet we first introduced to when Loba was added to the game). We can get a hint on the official Apex Legends Season 15 site, which says “In the shadow of Boreas, Apex Games’ newest home shines brightly.”
In the launch trailer, we can see Catalyst on TV watching Apex Games’ upcoming moon landing in Boreas, which featured heavily in the character trailer a few days ago.So the moon is almost certainly our next destination
As for what POIs and other cool additions we can expect, we don’t know yet! But, like Catalyst’s abilities, we’re sure to get more details in the coming days as more trailers come out. So come back later for more details!
gift
Through a post on the official Apex Legends website, we know the gift is finally coming to Battle Royale, which launches with the Apex Legends Season 15 Eclipse.
You can use Apex Coins to buy gifts from the store, including single items and bundles, which you can then send to your in-game friends. You do have a 24 hour gift limit, though, so don’t expect to be able to bathe loved ones with weapons and character skins or anything like that.
In terms of gift-giving requirements, you need to meet the following criteria:
- You must turn on login verification
- You must be a level 10 account
- You must become an in-game friend with the gift recipient within 2 weeks
- Both the giver and the recipient must have an account in “good standing”
