That's it, here we are, season 5 of Apex Legends has just landed on the live servers and among the new features, we find the addition of a legend, Loba. So let's see without further delay what it has in store for us and how to play it.
His history
As you know, one of the strong points of Apex Legends is that it does not add legends without at least integrating them into the game. This season, it's Loba who joins the happy band and you've known them for a season without even noticing.
Indeed, remember the trailer from last season for the arrival of Revenant. We see in this one murder a man and his wife in front of a little girl. Well this girl is Loba! Growing up, she will become a thief emeritus, but will never cease to have an unnamed hatred towards Revenant.
So when she learns that he is participating in the Apex games, she immediately goes there to demand revenge. Unfortunately, not everything will go as planned and she will understand that to achieve her ends, she too must participate in the games.
His abilities
Like all characters in Apex Legends, Loba has a kit of three abilities, a tactic, a passive and an ultimate. We invite you to discover them below.
Rise in the air (tactical ability) : Loba throws her jump bracelet in one direction and teleports there.
Sharp look (passive) : You have the ability to see epic or legendary loot through the walls for a short distance around you!
Black Market Store (Ultimate) : Set up a device to teleport nearby loot into its inventory. Each legend (whether ally or not) can get up to two items this way.
You will quickly understand by reading the Loba kit, here we are facing a support character which, a little like Crypto with its drone, will aim to deliver valuable information to the members of its team.
The difference is that Crypto specializes in detecting enemies where Loba will allow you to quickly and efficiently find quality equipment in order to better prepare for the fight. A combo of the two characters could also be devastating given the information that will be available to you.
It should be noted that his tactical ability also makes Loba a sniper of choice.. Indeed, thanks to it, you can go in search of innovative shooting positions to surprise your opponents and thus eliminate them more easily.
