This season 5 of Apex Legends is definitely rich in news. You will now be able to participate in a series of PvE challenges every week to learn more about the story around the game. Respawn has christened this series of missions the Quests!
Unlock quests
When you first arrive on the game servers, you may have the unpleasant surprise to realize that the first mission is not unlocked for you: it's completely normal, don't panic, there is a preliminary step to complete.
You will have to go in part (whether in duo, trio, limited game mode or ranked) and find 5 treasures before having access to it. You should know that you can only harvest one of these treasures per day! You will therefore theoretically have access to the first mission, called hunts, only in 5 days. However, Respawn has officially announced that the first hunt will take place on May 19, which gives you a week to find the 5 treasures requested.
PvE mode
The principle of hunting will then be quite simple. Each week, you will be taken by night to a place in the Canyon of the Kings where you will have to catch a part of the relic and leave with it until you reach the extraction area. In total, these are nine parts of relics that you will be asked to pilfer this season
Regarding the modalities of these hunts, you can go solo or in a squad. If you choose the solo, then you will have several lives to get there. This will not be the case in a squad, but you can always raise your teammates on the ground. Finally, be aware that it is possible to replay these hunts as many times as you want if you wish.
