It seems that Respawn is slowing down, and Apex Legends is coming to Switch next month.
Last night, Respawn released the first story trailer Apex LegendThe upcoming eighth season. The trailer shows the newest role of Apex Legends: Fuse, an Australian explosives expert.
The video also confirms that February 2 is the start date of season 8.
But that’s not all, at least if you happen to check the official Japanese version of the trailer. The description of the trailer, by @TitanfallBlog, And added a piece of news: the release date of the Switch version. According to the description (since deletion), Apex Legends will be released on the Switch on the same day as the release of Season 8.
“And on February 2, it can be played on the Switch at the same time as Season 8 begins,” the translated part of the description is available once you read it.
Given that this information has been quickly deleted, it may be out of date, which may explain why the English version does not contain this detailed information. Respawn may also hope to properly announce the release date in its own way sometime in the next few days.
Since its release, we have never really seen Apex Legends running on Switch. It was originally supposed to be released last year, but it was postponed to 2021 in October.
