Unfortunately, inflation was to be expected, Apple TV Plus is also increasing the price of its subscription and this will disappoint more than one.
Unfortunately, inflation isn’t just affecting iPhones at Apple, it’s also affecting the manufacturer’s services, such as Apple TV Plus, which takes a nice hit of an additional 40%. An increase all the more surprising given that the service has had the advantage of being the most accessible on the market.
Apple TV Plus increases its prices
Apple TV+, launched in France in 2019 at a bargain price, namely 4.99 dollars, is going outnow for 6.99 dollars. What buttons give users with all the same 40% increase. The annual version of the subscription is obviously affected from 49.99 dollars to 69 dollars. And since an increase never comes alone, the other development concerns Apple Music, which ranges from $9.99 to $10.99 per month. The family subscription goes from 14.99 to 16.99 dollars per month. Finally, the annual subscription goes from 99 dollars to 109 dollars. In France, all prices are rising, but wages are not moving.
It is interesting to see how the big companies raise prices for services of this type, knowing, for example, that Apple published record sales of $83 billion for the third quarter, up 2% at the end of the year compared to the same quarter last year. Apple’s service will at least have the advantage of being cheaper than the competition (Disney+ at $8.99 per month and Netflix at $8.99 without ads)
