Next June 22, during WWDC 2020, it may well be that Apple announces the arrival of new processors for its Macs. Let’s see what it’s about.
The rumor has been active for a long time and it seems to be taking shape. Apple intends to separate Intel chips and equip Macs with ARM architecture. The problem is that macOS and most software works specifically for Intel’s X86 architecture.
So you understand the whole problem. But this time it seems to be the right one since Bloomberg specifies that the advertisement is for the June 22, start of the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference. MacBooks should be the first to benefit from it, but it is ultimately the entire Apple catalog that should also be able to taste ARM.
If so, it’s a big customer that Intel may well lose.
