Three new PS Plus Essential PS4 and PS5 games were released in April and are available for download as part of the service’s monthly game rotation starting April 4.
Every PS Plus member, including PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers, can download these new games and keep them in their library for as long as they want. Even though April has passed, the games are still available to those who redeem them.
The three PS Plus Essential games coming in April are:
- Sackboy: Big Adventure
- meet your maker
- iron tail
Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a 2020 3D Platformer game, produced by Sumo Digital. It’s the latest entry in the Sack Boy series and lets you play as the adorable Sack Boy through a series of adorable levels. You have a series of abilities to help you navigate these colorful levels. Meet your Maker is a first-person shooter with an emphasis on building and raiding player-designed levels. The post-apocalyptic setting breathes life into the game, and you’ll need to navigate deadly traps and overcome obstacles to come out on top. The game will be available for day one on PS Plus, so get in on the action!
Finally, Tails of Iron is a brutal 2D action RPG where you take on the role of a brave little mouse, slicing and slicing open all manner of monsters and mammals. It’s an indie game with a lot of heart, and with a low cost of free download, there’s no reason why you should give it a try.
