With Archetype Entertainment, a new development studio has been formed under the direction of the D&D experts, which is run by former BioWare veterans and is expected to deliver a promising sci-fi RPG.

Wizards of the Coast is known to many RPG and trading card fans, after all, the company is responsible for Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering. Now the company is building a completely new developer studio – and that should work on a very promising project.
Background: The new studio is called Archetype Entertainment and is managed by former BioWare veterans. James Ohlen and Chad Robertson, who have already worked on prominent series such as Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: The Old Republic or Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, have had the say.
Ohlen previously worked at BioWare Austin, where he was Head of Technology and Studio Director. Robertson was Head of Live Services on the flopped Anthem before finally leaving BioWare in November; he is now Vice President and Studio General Manager at Archetype.
As mentioned, the new developer is already working on a debut project, which is described as a role-playing game for multiple platforms, which will send you on an action-based epic journey in a brand new science fiction universe. The decisions you make should have real consequences as the story develops. The new Sci-Fi IP explicitly has no relation to an existing D&D or Magic brand from Wizards of the Coast.
