Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a fantastic game. Among other things, because it offers us the best lightsaber fights since Jedi Knight. So the combat system is one of the greatest strengths in EA's newest Star Wars game. In fact, the battles with the lightsaber are the basis for the whole game. It is therefore all the more unimaginable to completely forego the lightsaber fight when playing.
But that's exactly what the Youtuber SixToon is trying to do. This has set itself the task of playing through the entire game without playing through. He doesn't want to judge a single enemy with his lightsaber. This "elegant weapon" is only used here to remove obstacles from the way.

A spin-off in the style of Fallen Order was probably planned for Star Wars: Battlefront
This is how the Youtuber wants to play Fallen Order
Since the lightsaber is actually immensely important for the basic design of Fallen Order, SixToon initially set out a few rules that he wants to adhere to during his adventure without a Jedi weapon.
- He may not use a lightsaber to injure or kill any enemy in the game.
- He is also not allowed to use his lightsaber to ward off attacks.
- He is allowed to cut obstacles like tubes or ropes with the lightsaber.
- Redirecting laser bombardment with the lightsaber to enemies also falls under the 1st rule.
- Cut scenes or skippable quick-time events in which the lightsaber is used are not counted.
To make life a little easier, SixToon plays the action adventure on the lowest level of difficulty. For the very simple reason that only in this way does his power bar regenerate itself automatically.
Can you play Fallen Order without a lightsaber?
With these rules in place, SixToon embarks on its Jedi journey and hits its first obstacle early on. Actually, the first stormtrooper can only be knocked down with his lightsaber. After some trial and error SixToon finds a small glitch, which means that Cal doesn't strike technically.
SixToon has to rely on such glitches more often
Later on Kashyyyk he is even forced to fall through the map. As a result, he gains important powers early on, without which some opponents would be indomitable. From this point on, the journey becomes a little easier, as he effectively hurls his opponents in a high arc over abysses or throws them against walls until they finally lose consciousness.
We don't yet know whether SixToon will ultimately see the closing credits of Fallen Order with this method. The video ends before his first fight against the second sister. In a later video, however, he wants to reveal whether he can find a solution for this as well.
