If you want to use »noscript« console commands in Dragon Age: Inquisition like in Part 2 or Origins, you will be disappointed. The built-in cheats from the predecessors there is no.
However, you can cheat your way to more gold or skill points using one of the numerous and fairly simple exploits.
Table of contents:
More gold via mission timer
You can find an easy way to get lots of gold in the war council. In the missions in Ferelden you will find the task “Get Money”. Put Josephine on this task, as she will get the most money.
If she is on the move, minimize the game and set on your PC the Windows clock simply forward. This will cause a time jump in the game and you will get the gold.
The trick also works on consoles, provided the clock can be changed manually. Of course, all other missions can also be sped up this way.
Duplicate crafting materials
For this exploit you need a controllerregardless of the platform. Go to a merchant and open the “Sell” tab. Now mark all crafting materials that you want to duplicate as valuable items.
Now press simultaneously press the keys for “Sell” and “Sell All”. This will duplicate all marked items.

Trick for more power and influence points
After completing the mission “The Price of Power” you will have access to the envoy Farris. You can buy items from him that give you influence and then sell them again for the same price. This process can be repeated as often as you like.
Additional skill points
This exploit works if you have a Amulet of Power in a chest that also contains another item. The exploit does not work when looting corpses.
Take the amulet from the box and travel by fast travel back to Skyhold. When you return, you will find a new amulet in the chest. Repeat the process as often as you like.
The contents of chests are usually also renewed for other items, but here too there must always be an item in the container.
Console commands
Unlike its predecessors, the game itself can no longer be manipulated via the console. However, some graphics settings change. Of course, this only works on the PC.
The console is opened using the ^ key. The usual commands for the Frostbite 3 engine can be used. For example, the 30-FPS-Sperre from Dragon Age Inquisition.
Enter the command “GameTime.MaxVariableFPSxy” into the console. For “xy” select the desired FPS value. The input is made without the quotation marks.
