Gaming News Are you fed up with inflation? Do your shopping online… in this video game!
In the category of games that don’t look special but are very addictive, there is Supermarket Simulator, an extremely satisfying experience that has been dominating Steam sales for several days.
In life there are obvious facts, and then there are those completely unexpected encounters that disrupt our everyday lives without warning… I’ve been playing Supermarket Simulator for hours now., the minutes pass so quickly that I had to abruptly break myself out of an incredibly addictive spiral to write this article before the weekend came. Otherwise I would probably be searching through my water and milk cartons until nightfall. I no longer know who I am or where I live, I have been drawn into a constant pursuit of profit while the oil shelves are emptying at a pace that is causing my anxiety to skyrocket. How can I hold my head up when customers at my new grocery store search in vain for their box of Chocipix for breakfast when I only have $10 left at the store’s checkout and I don’t even have the option to invest in a poor one? Which shelf do I need to meet my daily goals as a supermarket manager?
Run your own supermarket. Stock the shelves, set prices to your liking, collect payments, hire staff, expand and furnish your store. Online Ordering and Delivery, Shoplifters, Security, Local Market Coming – Game Steam Sheet
One day I’ll be the best cashier
Early access
The supermarket simulator is in early access.
You will undoubtedly have understood from the title, Supermaket Simulator is a first-person simulation that puts you in control of a completely empty supermarket that needs to be filled from A to Z. Some will say it’s noticeably boring, because the title above all makes me want to be successful, to align my shelves perfectly and to make all my customers happy for hours. And guess what, I’m not the only one thriving between the wonderful shelves of my little shop, which is still in its early stages (I still have so much to achieve to compete with the Monoprix in my neighborhood): The game has dominated the bestsellers on the Steam platform for weeks. And honestly, it’s deserved.
Please note that Supermarket Simulator offers content that is already dense enough to pique the interest of fans of the genre. In your shed, your PC allows you to access the entire management side of the experience and has very good clarity. The game is honestly easy to learn, and that’s always a great point for a management title that demands efficiency, especially when the clock is ticking and there are wins to be made before the end of the game. There is the “market” corner where you can stock up on food and drinks, but also buy furniture and refrigerators. There’s also the License tab, and this is where the most magic happens: Once funds are raised, you’ll be able to purchase new licenses to welcome entirely new products to your shelves, like an excellent stock of peanut butter that I’m rushing to sell at full price. What’s also pleasing is that one tab gives you the opportunity to expand your store section by section, and another offers you the Holy Grail: employees you can put behind the checkout while you race to collect the boxes of products, without which the wholesaler ends up miserably on the street. I even greet you. In other words, everything you need to play for dozens of hours is already there.
The best is yet to come
What could be better than admiring the perfectly stocked and aligned shelves before you open the blinds? Actually not much anymore. Obviously, the life of a branch manager is not only a series of joys, it also brings with it small problems: for example The bills that have to be paid every month and especially the change that you have to give, damn it This reminds me of the extent to which I have rather exceptional difficulties with arithmetic. The tip: Maintain round prices on every product to avoid this monumental scourge as much as possible.
Far from being an extremely relaxing experience, Supermaket Simulator requires tireless pragmatism and impeccable efficiency : At the end of the day, the results are produced, including, among others, the number of missing products and customer dissatisfaction with the set prices. There is also a performance issue as your avatar can climb the levels. Additionally, I have no qualms about selling my inferior products well above the market price. Customers can definitely complain, I have to recruit workers and run a grocery store.
Supermarket simulator is still in Early Access and offers relatively limited content. But developer Cannias alone rolls out updates slowly. Soon the game will be entitled to some pretty attractive new features such as cleaning, customization, decoration, expiration dates and, MOST OF all, thieves! The part can be spicy. A Discord with tens of thousands of participants keeps you updated on all upcoming updates. If you already like the experience at this level, be aware that it is offered to you on Steam at a price of $ 12.99. Treat yourself. I, I’m going back
