Surprise: A release period for the shooter sequel ArmA 4 was announced at a concert. We’ll tell you here how long you have to wait for the title!
As is well known, Bohemia Interactive continues to build on its successful tactical shooter series ArmA – and now we finally know when we can expect the new main part ArmA 4. As part of a concert celebrating the 25th anniversary, a release period for the title was somewhat surprisingly revealed.
After the Czech National Symphony Orchestra’s anniversary concert, a message suddenly appeared on the large screen: “ArmA 4, coming 2027” was written there – which at least fixed the release year of 2027 for the new shooter.
Bohemia had previously published ArmA Reforger in 2022, which is considered a field test for all kinds of technologies that will be used in ArmA 4. After the early access launch, version 1.0 of this game followed last year. The foundations for ArmA 4 have basically been created, but the release is still taking too long for the community’s taste.
The series also thrives on its large modding scene; It remains to be hoped that this will also bring ArmA 4 to life.
The leaks were right – with ArmA Reforger there is a new part of the military sim and it is now in Early Access.
