The Dark Souls and Elden Ring makers at From Software are looking to breathe new life into the classic Armored Core franchise. There may now be a release date for the sixth part of the series.
Although the official announcement of a date is sometimes still pending, if you believe well-known insiders, then there is much more clarity in this regard.
What is meant are the usually well-informed and networked industry experts Insider Gaming, who are now bringing a summer release of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon to the game. Citing unspecified, own sources, the release date has been set internally and should fall on August 25, 2023.
Armored Core VI was announced at The Game Awards in December 2022 and given a flat date of 2023. Since then, fan expectations have continued to rise following the immense success of From Software’s last title, Elden Ring.
If the well-known insiders are right with their report, then that would also invalidate an earlier rumor about the date, which assumed a publication at the end of September. There could be an official announcement in a few weeks, because according to those in the know, there will almost certainly be an appearance of the game at Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest in June.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is scheduled for release in 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S; We will keep you informed about the further developments of the rumors.
