Starting April 14, Ubisoft will release Assassin's Creed 2 on PC through its uPlay service.
Although the company has not announced any official news, news about the free download has been posted on a German-language discount website and was discovered by industry analyst Daniel Ahmad.
The offer is clearly global, and the downloader will be able to keep the title forever. The deal also includes discounts for "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" and "Assassin's Creed: Revelation", which constitute the complete Ezio series.

Ubisoft will distribute games this month to encourage social alienation.
When the company released the first free game "Lehman Legend" this month, it said: "We have organized a month of discounts, trials and discount series to help everyone who follows the guidance of health authorities stay at home.
"Whether you want to stay active, socialize or entertain with friends from afar, we need help."
