Leaks are rarely fun, even if they attract attention. Ubisoft recently fell victim to unauthorized release of gameplay scenes from Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade. But that was just the beginning it seems, on YouTube there is now almost an hour of gameplay from the mobile offshoot.
It happened again, Ubisoft was the victim of a leak. And again it has caught the mobile offshoot Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade. Just recently, scenes from the title were leaked without Ubisoft’s permission

What exactly is there to see? First the player creates his own assassin, then it goes into the game world. Here you can see the combat system in action and of course the movement mechanics can also be seen. In cutscenes you get a first impression of the story of Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade. However, the recordings of the gameplay sound and any voice output are missing.
The clips are located in the village of Yonging, which the player has to protect from attackers and even faces a boss there. Another video shows Yangzhou, a burglary at the governor’s residence and even the player’s mount.
Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade is set in 215 BC. With Wei Yu, Ubisoft introduces a legendary assassin who should already be fans of the series. There have been various references to him within the franchise. Accordingly, he tried to kill the tyrant of the first Chinese empire, Qin Shi Huang.
