A gameplay test video of Assassin’s Creed Emerald has reportedly leaked online, and this could be the first look at the mobile game.
As shared by Eurogamer, the alleged footage was shared to the Assassin’s Creed Facebook page and later to the Assassin’s Creed and Game Leaks and Rumors Reddit page. The video, which lasts about 2 minutes and 40 seconds, appears to have been recorded with an Apple mobile device, though the person who shared it to the Assassin’s Creed subreddit claims it’s not theirs.
If true, that short clip shows what looks to be some sort of invasion, and it’s clearly not finished at this point, as there’s a moment where the player is shown trying to slide down the ziplines, but just can’t grab the first few ziplines. It’s likely from the very beginning of the game, as it contains a series of basic tutorials, such as how to move and fight, though it’s likely only applicable to this early version.
The character you play as in this so-called gameplay segment is called Dengling Bai, but apparently since this is just a leak and not an official reveal, there’s no way of knowing if the character you’ll be playing is that character, or if he’s even there for the introduction.
