Assassin’s Creed Phantasm is coming soon with a ‘tactile playset’ that lets you feel the ‘shock and parkour’

If you’ve ever wanted to experience the physical sensations of a leap of faith, an official Assassin’s Creed Phantom “Tactile Play Set” will help you.

There are limits to what most video games can bring you. Sure, they’re pretty good at getting some emotional feelings out of you, but physical feelings are pretty much limited to feeling your hands through the vibrations of the controllers. But at least for Assassin’s Creed Phantom, Owo’s tactile gaming system will make you feel more.

This odd merch was made in collaboration with Ubisoft and essentially looks like a thermal shirt themed around the upcoming game (thanks, Eurogamer). However, things are more complicated than that, as those who wear the shirt will be able to experience “many different sensations” that match those of the game’s main character, Basim.

According to Ovo, those sensations will include things like “shock and parkour,” which isn’t a scary concept at all. The regular version of the suit apparently mimics 30 different sensations, such as “boxing,” “darts,” and “severe abdominal injury.” I don’t know why you’d want to really feel something like this when you’re planning to experience some lighthearted entertainment, but whatever floats your boat.

Apparently, the Assassin’s Creed Phantasm version of the suit will even include “some unique sensations you’ve never felt before,” so you can enjoy yourself.

The bundle works with all versions of the game, namely PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and it also comes with a digital copy of the game. It’s a good thing, too, because the regular edition sells for around $560, so make sure you really want to experience every bit of Assassin’s Creed Phantasm before buying. There’s no release date other than “coming soon,” so it’ll probably be around October 12, which is when Assassin’s Creed Phantasm itself launches.
