Is it after several shifts this time at the release date of Assassin's Creed Shadows? According to a new report, it probably looks good!
Assassin's Creed Shadows – located in feudal Japan – should have been available for PC and consoles, but it is known that nothing came of it. Ubisoft had to move the publication back several times, so that March 20, 2025 is currently considered the date of publication. Does it work this time or can another shift await us?
According to a new insider report, it currently looks good that Assassin's Creed Shadows will actually be available from March 20. The well -known and extremely reliable Tom Henderson tried his sources in this regard and, among other things, spoke “several developers who work on the game”.
According to Henderson, these are confident that the new action game of the success series will be completed on time for the release in March. A source had stated that the game is basically “quite finished”, so no longer required any major rework.
Most recently, on the occasion of the announcement of new business figures, Ubisoft emphasized that the pre -orders of Assassin's Creed Shadows were currently comparable to those of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Early previews were also positive and had praised the game for his narrative and immersive experience.
According to reports, the pre -orders are around 300,000 copies. For comparison: On the day of publication, Odyssey brought it to 400,000 to 450,000 players; In this respect, Shadows still has a gap to close until the release day, but not every Odyssey player will have pre-ordered the title at the time.
The Star Wars Outlaws, which remained behind the expectations and therefore regarded as a flop, had less than half of the pre -orders in a comparable time window before the release that Shadows currently counts. In this respect, it looks better for Ubisoft this time.
Randnote: Reviews of Assassin's Creed Shadows should be published from March 18, 2025.
