At the end of the year, Ubisoft lets it rip again in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. In addition to the final DLC that has just been released, there are more promotions in sight, including a free play weekend.
There’s a lot going on in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla right now. After the final DLC and the new update were released prematurely this week, further actions are waiting for you in December to slowly but surely bring the end of Eivor’s two-year journey to an end.
Perhaps first things first: if you’re not one of the 20 million players who have already bought AC: Valhalla, you’ll soon have the opportunity to get a taste of the game for free. From December 15th to 19th there will be a free play weekend, i.e. a weekend where you can play the game for free. The progress made will of course carry over if you decide to buy the game.
In addition, a new crossover with Destiny 2 launches on December 6th, bringing bundles of cosmetic items and armor in the style of the bungie shooter. Also, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Assassin’s Creed, it’s announced that all Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players will receive the Young Ezio Legacy Outfit for free via Ubisoft Connect on December 21st.
Until then, you can keep busy with the new DLC. Included is, among other things, the quest The Last Chapter. This epilogue brings together some of the game’s established storylines, at least if you’ve completed certain key story quests.
As part of this latest content update, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet Roshan, Basim’s mentor from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. In the free quest Common Past, Eivor discovers they share a common enemy.
