Ubisoft Announces Final Content Update Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Will arrive in December.
In Title Update 1.6.2, you can expect new content for the game, including The Last Chapter, which will provide a “touching and intimate” conclusion to Eivor’s saga.
The epilogue will tie in with some of the storylines that developed throughout the game and bring closure to your time in Raven Clan.
The final chapter will be released on December 6th and will require completing key parts of the game to access it.
This includes the main storyline of the Oath to all the Dominions of England, as well as the completion of the Asgard and Jotunheim myths. You need to upgrade the settlement to level 5 and build the Jomsviking Barracks. You must also kill all of the Order of the Ancients’ targets and unmask its leader.
With the content coming to an end, the game will no longer host Ravensthorpe’s limited-time holiday event. For those who didn’t have access to the Yule, Ostara, Sigrblot or Oskoreia festivals, after completing the quest The First Night of Samhain (Glowecestrescire arc), all festival rewards will be available at all merchants throughout England.
This will allow you to earn rewards you may have missed in exchange for silver. The development team will also add new rewards in this update as a thank you to the players.
Unfortunately, the highly anticipated new Game+ mode will not be added to the game.
According to Ubisoft, when investigating New Game+’s implementation, it realized that the game’s depth gave it “limited options that made replayability unique and rewarding.” Instead, it’s hoping that the new content released over the past few months will provide enough replayable content.
One feature that was highly requested by the community with the update was the option to keep the hood open at all times. You’ll find the abilities listed in the in-game options menu. This is a purely cosmetic option, as it does not affect gameplay or detection.
The final update will also contain “more surprises” that Ubisoft will share at other times.
The Assassin’s Creed franchise turns 15 this week, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by revisiting the first game.
