The unexpected often comes: Followers of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla can look forward to the release of the last additional content “The Last Chapter” earlier than expected.
Actually, the big, final additional content “The Last Chapter” should not have been available for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla until next week, but to the delight of many players of the action title, Ubisoft has now made it available a whole week earlier. In a corresponding announcement via social media, the company itself speaks smugly of a “glitch in the animation”.
Launching Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is greeted with a fairly large download of the free expansion. “The Last Chapter” finally concludes the story of Eivor and resolves open storylines. This will also end the game’s post-launch support – two years after its original release.
Actually, the DLC should not have been available until December 6th. The – whether intentional or not – premature publication also brings another surprise with it. There is also a new quest called “Shared History” in the update. Through this, Roshan, a character from Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, finds his way into Valhalla. In this respect, Ubisoft also provides a small appetizer for the next series offshoot.
Accompanying the DLC there is said patch on version 1.6.2, which also brings with it, for example, the option to wear Eivor’s hood permanently. You can also use in-game currency to purchase rewards from previous festival events.
However: Although the final additional content is already available, this does not apply to the Steam version at the same time. If you want to play Valhalla there, you still have to wait until December 6, 2022.
