Sometimes in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, The hardest choice is between friends. When Eivor went to Snotinghamscire, the seat of Hemming Jarl, they soon had to manipulate the fate of a kingdom again. Choose a successor from their old friend Vili and the worthy Trygve.
This is different from most other choices in the game, mainly because you are confused about Hunwald and Aelfgar and think who should be Lincoln Ealdorman, because no one will contradict each other.
There is no bad person to choose the bad and the good. This is a difficult requirement. But in the end, it was Eivor’s decision to step into Hemming Jarl’s big shoes.
Should you let Trygve sacrifice yourself?
Although the decision you make between Vili and Trygve is a choice in the game, you actually have to make two choices.
First, at the funeral, Trygve will make a plan to follow Hemming to Valhalla, which Eivor and Villi are familiar with.
You can choose to let him move on, give up his life, or convince him to persevere and help Snotinghamscire’s future.
Based on how easy it is to persuade Trygve not to sacrifice his life, based on the fact that this may not be the right choice for him to burn himself on the pyre, and of course it is not the “happiest” ending of the mission.
Similarly, if you let Trygve continue his plan, whoever becomes Jarl’s choice is taken away from you.
So when Trygve asks, please say: “Nottingham Sith can’t lose anymore” to keep him around.
This does not mean you have to choose Trgyve as Jarl. You can still choose between him and Vili in the future.
Assassin’s Creed: Vallla Vili or Trygve: Who should you choose as Snotinghamscire Jarl?
The key to this choice comes down to the fact that Wei Li is not sure whether he is willing to take on the responsibility of his father.
In multiple stages of the entire mission, it is suggested that Willy would rather continue his immature wandering glory life.
To make things more logical, this largely implies that Hemming Jarl will be happy and proud of his son, no matter what decision he makes.
However, in the follow-up tasks before the end of the storyline, it is easy to affect Vili’s growth and assume the responsibility for the tasks he wants to complete.
If you choose Vili as Jarl:
- Everyone is happy, Vili announced an alliance with the Raven clan
- During the transition period, Trygve worked tirelessly to help Vili, just as he was a consultant for Hemming
- Vili represented Snotinghamscire in the final duel with Aelfred in the late game
If you choose Trgyve as Jarl:
- Everyone is still happy, after a moment of silence, Trygve also announced an alliance with the Raven clan
- Vili got rid of Jarldom’s shackles, joined the Raven clan, and lived in Ravensthorpe
- But Willy still represents Nottingham in the final duel, come on
Personally, I think choosing Vili as Jarl is the “best” choice, persuading him to accept his responsibilities and ensure the long-term future of the county.
Especially when he puts himself in the ranks of the Raven clan anyway.
At this point, you can successfully enter the endgame of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. So far, your choice will affect which ending of the storyline you see.
