Epic isn’t the only one currently wearing the donation pants. You are also currently getting another game for free on GoG. This is the sci-fi noire adventure Lacuna from the Europe developer DigiTales Interactive. We’ll explain to you what’s behind the title and who it’s suitable for.

The free promotion ends on December 29th, 2023 at 3 p.m.
What kind of game is Lacuna?
In Lacuna you slip into the shoes of CDI (Central Department of Investigation) agent Neil Conrad, who has to solve a murder case. Of course, it wasn’t just anyone who was taken around the intergalactic corner, but the Secretary of State. And as is always the case with political murders, the whole case could trigger an interplanetary war if the culprit is not found quickly.
We do classic police work such as collecting clues, questioning witnesses and combining evidence. The really beautiful pixel graphics of the sci-fi setting are repeatedly accompanied by recorded dialogues. You can also listen to it in the trailer:

What makes Lacuna special? The adventure dispenses with many classic point & click elements and replaces them with WASD controls, non-repeating dialogues and highlights on all clickable objects.
In addition, your decisions in the game have a lot of weight. In many dialogues you make big and small decisions that, among other things, influence the ending – there are several of them.
By the way, there are currently several free games. Not only GoG is currently giving away a game, but also Epic:
Who is Lacuna suitable for?
