Microsoft will wait at least a year after the console launches before releasing Xbox Series X-specific games.
Microsoft's Matt Booty said in an interview with MCV that he hopes these games will be available on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X. At least in the first or second year.
Booty, head of Xbox Game Studios, said: "As our content is released next year and within two years, all our games (similar to PCs) will be played on this series of devices."
"We want to make sure that if someone invests in the Xbox from now on (to the X series), they will feel like they have made a good investment and we are committed to providing them with content."
In terms of Xbox proprietary products, Halo Infinite will be released for the Xbox One and new consoles. This is one of the games the company wants to focus on when the console launches as a "big chance" to show off all the new features of the X series
"We need to make sure we maintain high standards in quality, release games that we can be proud of, and make fans proud of the exclusive Xbox products," Booty said.
"In the end, we need to continue building roles, stories and worlds that can transcend generations, devices and platforms."
Except for the 2020 holiday, the exact launch date of the host has not been announced. It is possible that we will release around E3 in June. At the same time, this is everything we know about the Xbox Series X so far.
