The Auto-Battler Auto Chess has become an absolute cult and success title; now the brand is to be built on elsewhere. A MOBA is now also in progress.
Originally developed as a mod for the successful Dota 2, Auto Chess is now independently (and also very successfully) on the road. Now the makers have announced that they will expand the brand in the future – in the form of another game implementation.
A spin-off in the MOBA genre is now in the works. For this Drodo Studio works together with the publisher Dragonest. The whole thing is remarkable in that Auto Chess was just a mod to the MOBA title Dota 2, but is now itself going back to an independent MOBA – and thus a direct competitor to Dota 2.
There is currently no official name for the new Auto Chess MOBA. What is certain, however, is that all characters from Auto Chess should be used themselves. Incidentally, some features from Dota 2 will also be used, including the fact that you can also destroy in-game objects such as trees during the game.
There is currently no release time window for Auto Chess MOBA either. However, it has already been confirmed that the individual characters should be available free of charge for the players, which distinguishes them from other competitors such as League of Legends. There is sometimes a fee to unlock new characters.
