It appears in the instruction manual of Tesla Model 3, but the reason why it has not been installed is still unclear. Users have suspected that the camera installed in the rearview mirror is the reason for the karaoke function of Tesla software. However, the real reason is different: the camera is a protective measure for the driver.

On Twitter, Tesla CEO Elon Musk now uses another camera application. Or more precisely, Musk answered the correspondingly worded user question. "Is it possible for Tesla to hold a video conference?" The followers wrote. Musk replied: "This is definitely an upcoming feature."
Implementation details are unclear. We assume that video calls can only be conducted in a stationary state, not just from Tesla to Tesla. This function will be practical when charging the battery. Therefore, you can use the waiting time wisely to video chat with friends [or bosses]. California's electric vehicle infotainment system already has many highlights-the keywords "romantic" and "movie mode".
So far, the camera in the rearview mirror has only been used in the Tesla Model 3. It is unclear whether the camera will be installed in the Y-shaped or Cybertruck in the future.
Elon Musk recently made headlines with his other company, SpaceX. They hope to produce the first feature film in space with NASA and actor Tom Cruise.
