Avatar: The Way of the Water has ranked first at the French box office since its theatrical release on December 14, 2022. However, that wasn’t enough to rival Asterix’s fifth live-action adaptation. Directed by Guillaume Canet, the film attracted 1,362,290 admissions in France in its first week in cinemas, to which must be added the 275,000 spectators who came for previews. Another spring French blockbuster
Vincent Cassel, interpreter of “JUL” César in the final adventure of the irreducible Gauls directed by Guillaume Canet, will be available in 2023 for another blockbuster “made in France”. On April 5, 2023, the remake of the bestseller written by Alexandre Dumas between March and July 1844 will hit the big screen. The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan takes up the literary myth of the same name by starring François Civil (D’Artagnan), Pio Marmaï (Porthos), Romain Duris (Aramis), Eva Green (Milady de Winter) and thus Vincent Cassel in the title roles (Athos) previously mentioned.
