Avatar Studios is a brand new division dedicated to the creation of films and TV series Avatar, the last airbender and the Legend of Korra. The media Deadline informs us that content will be produced that will be available on Paramount + (not available in French-speaking countries), Nickelodeon platforms, other third-party platforms and in theaters. His first project will be an animated film, the production of which is scheduled to begin this year 2021.

It’s hard to believe that we created Avatar: The Last Airbender 19 years ago. But even after all this time, there are still many stories and times in Aang’s world that we cannot wait to relive. We are fortunate to have a growing community of passionate fans who love exploring the Avatar Verses as much as we do. And with this new adventure from Avatar Studios, we have an unprecedented opportunity to grow our franchise and its storytelling on a large scale in a diverse and exciting way.

In August 2020, the creators of the original series announced that they had left the series’s live-action customization project at giant Netflix, which was still in development..
