The spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead is slated to take off in October. However, as part of an open beta, you are allowed to get involved beforehand.
At the start of the Summer Game Fest, developer Turtle Rock has announced a beta test phase of the upcoming multiplayer action game Back 4 Blood. In the summer – several weeks before the actual release – you will be able to lend a hand yourself.
Pre-orderers of the full version will be allowed to start a first beta from August 5th to 9th. In addition, another open beta test phase is planned for the period from August 12 to 16, in which all interested parties can participate, even if they have not ordered the full version in advance.
Both tests should be playable on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC and support cross-play and cross-gen. All gamers can play with each other regardless of the platform.
The zombie co-op shooter was originally scheduled for June 22nd but had to be postponed. The current release date for the title is now October 12, 2021. A new trailer with fresh impressions is attached for you.
