There are new release dates for Baldur’s Gate 3. However, this leads to confusion among some fans because of the planned early access. A community update should remedy the situation.
- Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming to PC on August 3rd.
- Early Access was originally supposed to start three days before release.
- In the upcoming community update, the development team should comment on this.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was originally scheduled for release on August 31 for PC and PS5. However, in the last “Panel From Hell” live stream, the development team announced that the game will be released on August 3rd for PC and not until September 6th for PS5.
As can be seen in the comments below the live stream, PC players are delighted with the early release. At the same time, some fans are apparently confused as to when early access for pre-orders will start.
Originally, early access for those who pre-ordered was supposed to start three days before the official release, i.e. on August 28th. However, since Larian Studios has brought the release date forward to August 3rd, some fans are wondering if there is still early access and when it will start.
There is no official statement from the developers on this topic yet. However, the publishing director of Larian Studios has already announced on Twitter that the development team wants to comment on this in the upcoming community update.
