For many fans, Baldur’s Gate III has been considered a role-playing game of the century since its full release. But the laurels are obviously not enough for Larian Studios, because the team around Swen Vindcke is constantly providing new content through free patches.
For example, Larian Studios released patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate III, which not only brought new endings. Thanks to him, you now have extensive modding tools at your disposal, with which fans have already recreated the map from Baldur’s Gate II, for example. However, there is a big catch because the update was only available on the PC – until now!

Because if you’re on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S or a Mac, you can be happy. Patch 7 also introduces mod support on these platforms; you can easily download the fan content created on the PC using the integrated mod manager and enjoy revised underpants or squads of 16 heroes.
The 13 new endings are now finding their way to consoles and Mac. As is well known, they are aimed primarily at those of you who have chosen a dark path.
If you prefer to experience Baldur’s Gate III together on the couch, there’s good news here too: Larian Studios has made some improvements to the split-screen mode. So now the screen merges seamlessly when the two characters are close enough to each other.
There are also tons of other bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. In total, the developers promise over 1,000 innovations and revisions. The perfect opportunity to tackle another run.
