The RPG epic Baldur’s Gate III continues to ride the wave of success. The Larian Studios title also won at the prestigious BAFTA Awards and continued to fill its trophy cabinet.
Almost out of nowhere, Baldur’s Gate III became one of the best games of the past year. The RPG epic achieved such great success that even the makers at Larian Studios were somewhat surprised by it. There have already been plenty of awards for the title due to the quality of the role-playing game – and Baldur’s Gate III has now also won big at the renowned BAFTA Awards.
When it came to nominations, Baldur’s Gate III went into the big awards ceremony as the favorite – and the RPG didn’t disappoint there again. Baldur’s Gate III took home the title in five categories, much to the delight of Larian Studios. This also includes the award in the top category of the best game of 2023. Alan Wake 2, Viewfinder and Super Mario Bros. Wonder also achieved several wins in individual categories.
