Back in April, Larian Studios announced the last major patch for Baldur’s Gate III. Mod users and players who want to start a nasty playthrough in particular should benefit from Patch 7.
With Patch 7, official mod support will finally find its way into the game. Up until now, modding has only been possible manually or with third-party software. Native support allows modders to bring their creations into the game more easily. Many mod users are already eagerly awaiting the patch, because in anticipation of the official interface, many modders are waiting with updates and new creations in order to then adapt them directly to the new support. So there is likely to be a veritable flood of mods and mod updates for the PC in the coming weeks.
The number of possible evil endings is also set to increase, offering more possibilities. Larian has already given us a few insights into this, but for spoiler reasons we won’t go into it in more detail here. The important thing is to know that you will soon be able to live out your evil fantasies even better on the Sword Coast.

In addition, the patch is supposed to bring some quality-of-life changes, but there are no final patch notes yet.
Unfortunately, Larian still has one downside. Console and Mac users will have to wait a while for the new features. Due to the complexity of the update, the patch will take some time to arrive.
