Bandai Namco Europe today announces the formation of the Bandai Namco Game Music label and with it the release of two original soundtrack albums: Elden Ring and Tales of Arise.
We certainly know all too well that soundtracks are an integral and important part of quite a few games. Bandai Namco has apparently also noticed this and is making a business model out of it. With Bandai Namco Game Music, the publisher has now launched a music label dedicated to the publication of video game soundtracks.
The first two albums to be released under the new label are digital albums with background and game music. The first album will be the Music to Elden Ring include, which has sold over 16.6 million copies worldwide. You can hear 67 tracks by the composers of From Software, which underscore the exciting fights against huge bosses and the most diverse environments and situations.
The second album Bandai Namco Game Music releases is the Musik von Tales of Arians, the latest installment in the Tales of game series, which has sold over 25 million copies since the series began. The soundtrack was mastered under the supervision of Motoi Sakubara, composer of the Tales of series. Tracks range from moody background music to epic battle themes, with a variety of styles and sounds including pop sounds, strings and full orchestration.
