American actor Kevin Conroy is dead. The actor, who lent his voice to Batman in numerous films, TV series and video games, succumbed to cancer at the age of 66 – like his colleague Diane Pershing Facebook announced and later by Warner Bros. has been confirmed.

Kevin Conroy’s career as an actor and Batman performer
Kevin Conroy was born in 1955 in Westbury, New York. His acting career began in the 1970s, when Conroy worked in the theater or in smaller television roles. His breakthrough came almost 20 years later, however, when he first (metaphorically) donned the cape of Gotham’s Dark Knights.
Because Kevin Conroy’s best-known role is undoubtedly that of Batman, which he embodied in almost 60 different projects over 30 years. Starting with Batman: The Animated Series in 1992, through the Batman: Arkham games, as well as Injustice and Multiversus to DC films like Batman: The Killing Joke or Justice League vs. The Fatal Five.
Away from Batman and DC, Kevin Conory has also appeared in video games – such as Lords of Everquest, Max Payne 2, Crusaders of Might and Magic and most recently Hard West 2.
Kevin Conroy died of colon cancer on November 10, 2022. He is survived by his husband, Vaughn C. Williams, and his siblings, Trisha and Tom Conroy.
