Battlefield 3 was released ten years ago! “It’s high time for a battle royale,” very few people shout. Nevertheless, a team of modders has set itself exactly that. The mode, which has been on everyone’s lips since PUBG and a global youth phenomenon since Fortnite, is also intended to expand Battlefield 3.
And the mode is making great strides: The developers are modifying the Kiasar Railroad map, adding a transport plane for the player to jump, setting an increasingly narrow ring of death and using a ping system to ensure easy communication.
The project was launched in first developer blog entry fully described. There the developers also declare that they plan to deal with an upcoming test run in the near future. It should initially only take place for a small group of players.
Before that, the developers want to finish the inventory system. Because of course you have to look for weapons and equipment in Battlefield 3 Battle Royale in order to survive the large-scale Deathmatch.
