Battlefield 2042 may no longer have new seasons with fresh content, but crossover events still exist. Now a collaboration with the horror franchise Dead Space is on the horizon.
DICE and Electronic Arts have announced a new collaboration in the shooter Battlefield 2042; the focus is on Dead Space, a well-known horror franchise from the publisher itself. This will now be introduced into the DICE shooter in the new week as part of the “Outbreak” event.
The event will run for a week from July 9th to July 16th, 2024. Squads will have to prove their resilience and ingenuity in the fight against a relentless new enemy and try to escape from the Boreas Laboratory. By participating in the event, you can unlock free rewards, including a new weapon charm and a skin. You can also expect a new player card background as well as a new token.
The crossover event also includes a Dead Space bundle, which includes the legendary specialist outfit “Marked Man,” three legendary weapon skins, and more. However, this bundle will cost you 2,200 BFC.
