As the leak suggests, the next Battlefield 2042 In-game events are coming. liquidator is a limited-time event that introduces a new infantry-only mode to the game.
The Liquidators is a two-week event that starts on October 11th and ends on October 25th. During this time, players will be able to take part in Tactical Conquest – a new Conquest variant that emphasizes squad play and intense infantry combat.
There are two versions of Tactical Conquest, each of which is available for a full week. During the first week, the mode will be limited to 8v8, expanding to 16v16 next week. Tactical Conquest is best thought of as Domination similar to Call of Duty, except that tickets are counted down instead of score rises.
DICE has prepared special variants of six maps for tactical conquest – from Total War, Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3. They are Arica Port, Secession, Caspian Border, Abandonment, Renewal and Stranding.
If you join, you’ll get some unique login rewards, but you can unlock more themed cosmetics by earning ribbons. You get a new item at 10, 30, 60 and 100 ribbons.
Although DICE hasn’t confirmed this, it’s been reported that Battlefield 2042 will receive a patch on October 10, the day before the event. We look forward to the usual bug fixes and balance tweaks, but we’ll also likely see orbital map rework and more Vault weapons available in Total War.
