The public announcement of the new Battlefield is apparently not far away. The rumor mill is boiling in advance and the leaks are piling up. Now two potential images have also been added.
The tension rises, the rumor mill is seething. At the weekend, two pictures appeared that allegedly come from Battlefield 6 and even confirm one or the other leak. The images could be relatively poorly resolved screenshots from a streamed trailer. On the one hand a rocket launch can be seen on it, on the other hand an aerial photo of an island or peninsula.
If the images are authentic, it would confirm the rumor that the new Battlefield is set in a scenario in the present or the near future. Leaker Tom Henderson in particular had caused a stir in the past few days with statements to this effect, although there were no confirmations for his claims.
According to Henderson, Battlefield 6 is set about ten years in the future. The weapons arsenal is based on current weapons or their further developments, as well as weapons that are currently in the research phase. The game should simply be called Battlefield and include, among other things, a cooperatively playable campaign. In addition, the game should have a day-night cycle and dynamic weather.
Other rumors already speak of a Battle Royale mode, multiplayer battles for up to 128 players and much more. EA and DICE have not yet commented on the rumors. Since the announcement of the game is apparently supposed to take place in the spring, this should represent the reaction of the developers.
