Apex Legends Mobile lasted less than a year until EA announced that it would discontinue the game and shut it down. The Battlefield Mobile, which has not yet been published, fared even worse, the development of which was canceled and the studio responsible for it was dissolved. What’s happening to Apex Legends Mobile?
From the January 31st announcement, you have 90 days to play, servers are scheduled to open on January 31st 1. May 2023 will be shut down in all regions and Apex Legends Mobile will no longer be playable. Real money purchases have already been disabled and the game has been removed from the app stores. You can still spend existing gold, but you will not receive a refund for purchases that have already been made.

And what about Battlefield?
The mobile offshoot of Battlefield, which is in a beta phase, is also being quietly discontinued. The website Venturebeat reports Furthermore, the responsible Studio Industrial Toys will be dissolved. In the official announcement the cessation of the game is justified with a change of strategy:

It is not explained whether the setting of the mobile game also has something to do with the failure of Battlefield 2042.
