The shooter Battlefield V has been up to mischief since autumn 2018 and has since been regularly supplied with fresh content. Another such update is still on the plan, but then it will end.

As developer DICE has now confirmed, the first-person shooter Battlefield V will receive one last major content update. According to the current planning status, this should be available in June 2020 and will then bring new game content as well as new weapons and some tweaks.
Then it was fresh content for the game. Translated means: Battlefield V will of course continue to be available and can be gambled, but DICE will then only carry out maintenance on the title, but will no longer deliver completely new game content. Seasonal events and other activities are an exception.
There is also a restriction with regard to the content update scheduled for June: the release period is not yet completely certain. This is due to the corona virus and the lung disease COVID-19, so that the DICE employees also work predominantly at home, which can lead to delays. DICE would therefore like to inform you regularly about the progress of development and keep the community up to date.
The current chapter called "In the Jungle" runs until April 29, 2020.
