Inspired by the (frankly awesome) Fallout TV show, this week on iGamesNews’s Best Games Podcast, I tasked my colleagues with finding the best game to make family members abandon you. Great game. That’s assuming none of them can choose Fallout 3, the classic “dad got fucked” simulator.
It turns out that being outcast by a family member is a fairly common occurrence in video games, especially if you expand the concept of family to include any form of fraternity or gang. But that didn’t stop racing-obsessed Mark from trying to crowbar in the game Burnout. Or Tom stops talking the usual nonsense. To find out the specific nonsense, you have to watch or listen to this, which is probably the first thing you do here, which means I basically wasted the last five minutes of my life typing this. Thanks for that. Thanks. I could have used this time to do something good, like hold my laughing baby, or eat chips, or whatever we did while the harvester waited.
Regardless, it’s still good to watch Fallout.
