Sexism issues at Ubisoft
The French developer and publisher has been accused of a toxic corporate culture since July 2020. It’s about sexism problems and discrimination, which should be deeply rooted in the company. Ubisoft has now removed some people from the management level and commented on the allegations.

When does the beta start?

In this regard, Ubisoft is still quite covered and has not yet given an exact date. However, the beta should start soon, which is why we are assuming that it will start this year. As soon as there is more information about this, we will inform you immediately.

Learn more about The Division Heartland

The Division Heartland is not a direct sequel to The Division 2, but a multiplayer spin-off. Developer Redstorm Entertainment is based on games like Escape from Tarkov or Hunt: Showdown and focuses on two game modes:

  • Storm Operations: A PvEvP mode in which up to 45 players must advance against enemy agents while escaping a deadly virus
  • Excursion Operations: A pure PvE mode in which you hunt for loot and complete smaller orders

As a player, you also decide before each mission which role you will slip into. Overall, the release six different agents and three different classes are available, each with their own abilities and benefits.

Incidentally, The Division Heartland is one of the projects that should form the future of Ubisoft for the next few years. How exactly the French publisher is currently imagining this is analyzed by Dimi for you:
