Bethesda and Microsoft will hold a joint meeting at E3 this year.
In an interview, Matt Booty, the head of Xbox game studio, revealed the new content of the joint meeting with Bethesda and Microsoft.
In an interview with French fashion magazine Le Figaro (subscription required), By the author Chloe Woitier (Chloe Woitier) said The conference will be held in a few weeks, which could mean E3 2021 (thanks to IGN).
Both Microsoft and Bethesda tend to host individual shows during conferences, but considering that the latter is now owned by Xbox, this year makes sense.
It is not yet known all the plans Bethesda will show during the conference, but we may eventually learn about the development of Starfield. According to Jason Schreier of The Wall Street Journal, The game will make an appearance at E3, but the game “is far from being done”, so it will not be released this year. Therefore, we may be considering sometime in the second half of 2022.
Also, we don’t know if we can hear any other sounds in the next “The Elder Scrolls” game, but this is good, even if Starfield predates it. Again, it may take a few years before we can find any information about it (shhh!).
Microsoft is just one of the companies confirmed in this year’s virtual conference. Others include Capcom, Nintendo, Take-Two and Ubisoft, as well as Bandai Namco, Gearbox, SEGA, Square Enix and Xseed Games.
More companies will definitely be announced in the future.
This year’s E3 happens to be a summer gaming event, which will be held on June 10th a few days before E3 2021. This year’s partners include 2K Games, Activision, Bandai Namco, Blizzard, Capcom, Devolver Digital, EA, Epic Games, Gearbox, Hi-Rez, PlayStation, Riot, Sega, Square Enix, Steam, Ubisoft, Warner, Xbox and many more Other developers and publishers.
E3 2021 will run from June 12th to 15th.
